Interviews, CVs, & Cover Letters

Over the course of their studies, your child may face a range of different applications. These might be for schools, sixth-forms or colleges, jobs, or even universities. We understand the importance of how your child performs in these cases, and that competition can be extremely high. We are able to guide them in how to leave a good impression, both in writing and in person. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • CV/cover letter creating: Crafting a stand-out CV or cover letter from scratch needs to reflect the character and skill set of your child. We can help them design a strong example to help them in their applications.
  • CV/cover letter polishing: Improving the presentation, content and structure of existing CVs to bring them up-to-date and to tailor them to fit a certain position.
  • Building confidence and competency through mock interview coaching.
  • Assisting in research towards the position for which your child is interested in applying, and preparing for specific questions and challenges.
  • Advising them with tips on how to stand-out from the crowd.

Apprenticeship Support

Apprenticeships combine paid on-the-job training with study, allowing your child to learn practical skills that suit their occupation, and earn a qualification at the same time. They may be considering an apprenticeship as a more suitable alternative to full-time study at university. Apprenticeships are available to anyone over the age of 16 in England. We are committed to providing a great deal of guidance, including the available options, progression and benefits of doing an apprenticeship. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding the levels and types of apprenticeships.
  • Guidance on apprenticeship vacancies and entry requirements.
  • Guidance on the application process, including what employers are looking for.
  • Support with application completion.
  • Advice on long-term career prospects following an apprenticeship.

University applications & Personal Statements

There are an abundance of exciting opportunities and options for any young person applying for university, which may leave your child feeling a lot of pressure and confusion. As a parent, you will want them to make the most well-informed decision possible, allowing them to continue their academic success. We are committed to supporting your child with different services to help them in their preparations for higher education. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Course choice: whatever your child’s strengths, interests or career ambitions are, we will pair them up with a mentor who will help point them towards the most suitable course.
  • University choice: with so many options in the UK alone, it can be tricky to narrow your child’s choices down to just five applications. With the help of a dedicated consultant, your child can make an informed decision about which universities are best suited to their needs.
  • Personal statements: after selecting course and university, your child will need a strong and unique personal statement to show passion and dedication, helping their application to stand out.
