All About our Sen Tutors
All of our SEN tutors are required to hold the relevant qualifications and a wealth of experience within their field. Alongside their expertise and passion for supporting students, they must have an interest in academia and hold high class degrees. All of our SEN tutors are required to maintain and regularly update their knowledge of the different teaching styles. With an Individual Tuition Plan (ITP), each student’s tuition programme caters to their specific needs. These tailor-made sessions are developed to help establish your child’s learning objectives.
All of our private tutors hold the new version of the CRB check, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) certification, which we monitor closely. This is a public body of the Home Office which vets applications for people who want to work with children and vulnerable people. These tutors are only selected after a thorough interview process as well as recent character references and work references, which we then use to determine their suitability for working with children. All of our tutors are screened very closely by our Centre Managers and Tutor Support team.
Homework & Feedback
Dependent upon their working level, your child’s SEN tutor will provide them with homework, they can continue to grow, using the methods and techniques most suited to their own learning style. Our individual assessments and reports mean that you as a parent can receive consistent feedback and track your child’s progress throughout the academic year.
